Haven't they always done that? I guess you would know better than me, but I thought they always sang something during the 7th inning stretch.

What do they do at a Toronto game? I doubt they want to hear God Bless America. Maybe Maple Leaf Forever.

like yesterday the cubs lsot they say because of a fan but the ball was clearly in the stands so he dind't do anything wrong and now they are going to lose in the 7th game.

Exactly the same with the Red Sox...Yankees willd rag them along thinking tey ahve a shot and beat them in the 7th.

Yeah, but he caught it right above Alou's glove. So if his hands weren't there, Alou would of had a 100% catch. Plus I think it was on the barrier and not in the stands.

Heh, thats exactly what ruined me on it. It doesnt have a lot of action and its slow and drawn out, but I always liked because I grew up playing and the americas game thing. It was tradition. Then the players put themselves before the fans and cancelled the world series over money. I was bitter. Then I realized it was tradition that made me like the game, not the entertainment (or lack there of). Once I realized that, I was free and I havent watched a game since. I hope the whole stinking league folds now and barry bonds has to go sell used cars. I get an unhealthy amount of amusement out of the ongoing downward spiral of baseball popularity.

And how exciting is a sport where you can pick the champs by looking at the payroll at the beginning of the season. Whoever can spend more is going to win. Look at the marlins' title. They spent so much on players that they lost money winning the world series. Then cleaned house the next year. Yankees buy their way to the series every year. Big fun. But the big dogs run the sport and make sure the deck stays stacked in their favor.

But I digress...
