BOB is a 10 part mini-series produced by HBO in conjunction with Tom Hanks and Stephen Speilberg. Hanks directed episode 5 but doesn't appear in any of them. Speilberg only exec. produced the series.

Total cost=$120 million. They spent $12 million for each episode...which is enormous for a 1 hour episode if you think about it (most 1 hour dramas on TV cost in the neighborhood of $1-$2 million).

It premiered in the US on Sept. 9th. Supposed to be out on DVD this fall.

Yeah, and the actor who played Winters was also nominated, but didn't win.

Band of Brothers was tight! My favorite character was probably Buck Compton. That is like the coolest name! The book is also really good. I taped every episode when it was showing here in the USA but it is coming out in Fall 2002 on VHS/DVD so I am looking forward to that!

Band Of Brothers started here 2 days ago, I must say, im stunned.

Story line is unfolding and im gething hooked.
I also was impressed by the CG grafix in the plaine scene, very done, specialy for a TV series.

The serie started last sunday in the netherlands. And i allready have planned my next sundays in front of the tellie

My dad made the 10 episodes into VCD for me, I'm watching it on my comp right now. Personally I love the series more than Saving Private Ryan because we get to see more Germans in this one!!

It was on HBO about a month or so ago here in America.
Great series, and best of all its completely true. They even included the stupid shit ppl did who got themselves killed. HBO is releasing it on DVD, but its not out yet.

Yea the Series started on Sept. 9th, went till early November. I just got the book for Christmas.
