What are your favorite multiplayer death match weapons?
 

What are your all time favorite multiplayer death match weapons in any game? My favorites are:

1. The red turtle shells in Mario Kart – I love those seeker turtle shells…..nothing quite compares to the feeling of driving over a special power-up shape and realizing that you got the red turtle shells.

2. The disc in TRON 2.0 – ever since I saw the movie I’ve been thinking about how cool it would be to play disc matches with other players. Death match is good but i hear that bvg is upgrading death match soon It’s going to be every bit as fun as I had imagined.

3. The camera guided rocket launchers in 007 Nightfire – no explanation necessary for anyone who’s played multiplayer in this game. There’s no way more fun than this to kill the enemy.

in spearhead i really loved the russian rifle

in breakthrough i LOVE the carcano

in call of duty i love the colt .45 , it sounds , fires, and looks so sweet

As MoH is really the first multiplayer game I bothered to play online, I'm kinda limited to the weapons within:

AA: M1 Garand
SH: Lee Enfield
BT: Carcano

I guess you could call me a rifleman...heh.

Moh:AA- Both axis and allied sniper rifles

Goldeneye 007(N64)- Remote mines and automatic's in multiplayer. The Silver pp7 on singleplayer

I loved the huge rocket launcher in Unreal Tournament, once you fired it right button stylee you could home in on one person or even a group for a multiple frag-me-do .....oo00OOh yea thats a good feelin'

Of course theres always that evilness one gleams with once he's fully hidden with a sniper rifle, I'd personally say MOH's or Project IGI's were the bestest although that funny splatter in half life TFC online is a close fave

I didn't get much of a chance to get really good at it but the Perfect Dark multiplayer was alot of fun, its been a while but I'm sure there was a golden gun or somethin similar which I loved to get a hold of and wait for innocent passers-by

I think it was Red Faction ... I d'loaded the mp demo. The rail gun has thermal scope, so you can see people through a wall or two. And kill them. Through the wall. Its funny.

Oh, and the exp pack in Desert Combat.

Even though it's not MP


The Molonof (sp?) Cocktails in Grand theft auto vice city, especailly when you've completed all the fire truck missions and are fire proof

AA:Mauser or Mp40
SH:Prtable MG hellfire:
BT:Delise or the Carcano (that damn rifle can put a man down!)

first time i played an MP match was sofI MP, with bots. i used the Slugthrower all the while. Its an automtic gun that fires huge slugs of something about 5cm wide, they look like lasers or something, but that wsa fun. just spraying a bot with it and watching his limbs fly off in all directions.

sofII i always use the AK, and the incendary grenades.

in dod, if im axis i use the kar98 (like most other people). 1 shot kills, and you dont actually have to hit them exactly, if theyre moving then you can still kill them if you miss by about 1m
if im allied then i use the thompson or garand

The proximity mines from Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.

oh my god ! perfect dark was one of the best games i have ever played to date. all of the weapons owned. the mag sec, the phoenix, the laptop gun, the mines, the slayer , the mauler....omg i must dig . out . my n64!

AK-47 or M4A1, i love em...or a hk psg-1...but thats not in any game, there is a "psg-1" in counterstrike, but it sucks...

i owned in 007. I unlocked many many cheats that some ppl thought that no human player could ever unlock. the_finger:

It's not MP but... the sticky cameras you'd shoot from your weapon in Splinter Cell. You can make them whistle to distract the guards. Once they're close you can release a gas that knocks them out cold. Awesome.

Let us not forget the amazing paratrooper's rifle in RTCW. It's a machine gun/sniper rifle in one ~ and it sounds so real. Me likey. Still, no one can deny that there really are NO weapons like the ones in TRON 2.0. They're not my all-time favorites, but they're the most unique weapons I've ever seen. Such a stunning game. Am I the only one here who has beheld the wonder that is TRON??

Tron was way too meh for me. To much downloading and searching for proper permissions and not enough fighting. Myabe the weapons got better, but I lost interest in the game before I got a 3rd weapon.

That's part of what gives the gameplay depth, but yeah sometimes you just want the immediate gratification of shooting at things. You should hang in there, though... there are a lot of stunning levels worth sticking it out for;
