As much as you'd like to think that Cold, the fact is that there are hundreds of guitarists better than Kirk Hammett! and I didn't say that Metallica sucks, they are or were one of my favorite bands, that was until I listened to Reload and St. Anger and just noticed how much there skills had deteriorated. Their old stuff is still amazing! i.e. Kill em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, .......And Justice for All, and The "Black Album". Cold, I think you are probably the only one out there who claims to be a metallica fan and hasn't noticed that Kirk Hammett isn't very good anymore, his guitar riffs are terrible from what they used to be and HE DOESN'T DO ANY SOLO'S AND YOU SAY HE IS STILL ONE OF THE BEST!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!? also when asked by Guitar World Magazine why there were no solos in St. Anger, He said "I'm in solo rehab" that is terrible!
