Blitz, Shut it
Nice pics, always good to see boys of North America doing what they do best. That C9 is like a better m16 with a scope, couldn't hurt us to throw them on more often. |

LMAO. |

You mean this? Thats a C7, not C9. C9 is a Light Machine Gun. Thats a C9. I know you guys use it, but I don't know what you call it off the top of my head. The scopes are alright. Their C79 Optical scope with a radioactive diode thingie, their getting kind of old. I've never seen an unscopped C7. Every single C7 i've handled had a scope on it. They are cool, but get in the way a lot of times. Their pretty useless at night and their kind of big. C7A2 is in testing right now in Afghanistan. Theres info here if your interested: There are some cool pictures http://www.tacticalkit.com/images/c7a2rifle.ppt http://nightoperations.com/Doc/Infantry ... rbine1.pdf |
That rifle looks like an M16A2 with a AR-15 hand guard... and that machine-gun looks like an M249-bravo. Pretty similar to what us yanks use rock:

Canadian military sucks ass. They can't, and don't, do shit.
I trained with their armor, infantry, and artillery units in Germany. They were the sorriest shitheads of the bunch. Always looked like they just rolled out of the rack, their vehicles were ghettos unto themselves, and they were constantly late. And these were units assigned to the UN, and our OPFOR for a 3 month extended REFORGER. The units that had their shit together the most were the British. Some tough-ass son of a bitches there. |
And fuck you too.
|
Nothing personal man, just my military experience. Having served my country, I believe I have the right to say so.
I did, after all, patrol the W German/Czech border before the wall came down. I went to Saudia Arabia and then into Iraq during Desert Storm. I did fire my weapon at another human being as they were firing theirs at me. I just happen to know a few things from first hand experience, and those things I've seen have colored my impressions. |
I've heard similar Slagg, lol. When my Father was in the 3rd ID at Fort Stewart he went to California to train with the Canadians and Russians for a yearly exercise. He had nothing but bad stuff to say about the Canadian military... they were always late, matter of fact they had to start the exercise three days later because of the lack of preparation due to the Canadians.
ninty9, can't take critism, EH? Like Slagg said, it's nothing personal. Don't go on a rampage because a man was talking about his EXPIERANCE. You're not going to make the Canadian military better by slamming "fuck you" to everyone who doesn't say something positive about your military. |
I was onboard HMS Invincible and the Canadian helicopter pilots I spoke to seemed quite competent. I also heard that their logistics teams were rather good.

Yet, if someone said something negative about Amercia, they'd get flammed to hell.
Wasn't there a Canadian sniper in afghanistan(sp?) that shot the rifle out of a guys hand from a very far dsitance? (I don't know the distance heh) You can't stay the entire Canadian military "sucks" because of a few lousy units. We could take the 5 worst units in the Amercian Army and then judge the entire Amercian Army on just those 5 units? My first hand experince with Amercians is that they're assholes. Guess that means everyone that lives in the U.S is an asshole eh? At least we get free health care.... (....That was a joke FYI....) |
Quze, try finding those 5 units - because you won't... the_finger:
Just kidding bud. Didn't mean to come off like the entire Canuck military "sucks". |
Hmm..so lets see...that was 10=15 years ago. Things can't change since then?
Thing is if I ever said anyhting like that, i'd get taken down so fast by you guys its not even funny. didn't make this thread to discuss who'se military is better, nor do I think this is the site to discuss it, since everything always comes down to country vs country. And I do take it personally. |
Actually if you do want to talk about that stuff, go register here;
http://www.cdnarmy.ca/ We have a few americans on that site and u've never heard they say anything negative. So if you want to discuss it with those guys, go right ahead. |
