Wow, when you really think about it... the body count HAS to be in the millions.... Just for fun lets do some math.... lets say ~1.5 years of intense MOHAA Action. = 550 days.... I would venture to say I averaged about 54 kills per map, and would play an average of 8.5 maps per day. That would be.... 252,450 Enemy Kills.... Ok, so maybe thats still a little short of a million... but nonetheless, thats a shitload of playin. |

I'd be dissappointed if the guys that made moh couldnt make a game two years later that owned the original.
I think I am going to have to actually buy this one. ed: |

COD looks very promising, but I hope their official site is innacurate,
it says at the beginning of Stalingrad you don't have a rifle, but according to Enemy At the Gates (THE BOOK NOT DUMBASS MOVIE) only the retreating troops who initially defended Stalingrad didn't have enough guns (because many ditched them in retreat). The fresh soldiers that came across the Volga in boats and barges all had enough weapons. and screenshots point to the fact that you do come across in a reinforcement wave by boat. |

It starts with you coming across the volga river in that boat, from then you see artillery walloping german emplacements, then you get to red square an are given a 5 round stripper clip and have to get a rifle in the midst of the battle. |
damn, with the knowledge that only the retreating troops who were forced to make a stand, not the reinforcements, didn't have enough rifles I'll have to assume that the guy lost his in the Volga due to kraut arty.
