Coyotes, not dogs, found in freezer of restaurant

The Edmonton Journal

EDMONTON -- Autopsies have determined animal carcasses found last week in a freezer of a restaurant were coyotes, not dogs.

The carcasses -- skinned, gutted and frozen -- were found Nov. 4 in a walk-in freezer at Panda Garden Seafood Restaurant.

John Lear, a spokesman for Alberta Sustainable Resource Development, said a scientist with the fish and wildlife forensic laboratory completed the autopsies Monday. Bob McClymont compared the carcasses with scientific literature on wolves, dogs and coyotes, Mr. Lear said.

He drew his conclusions after measuring the length of different bones, and the positioning and size of the animals' teeth.

It is illegal to sell the meat of any wild species in Alberta. An investigation into the discovery continues.

way it can, then yes........by the way, how much is a kilo of Tiger penis in your neck of the woods?

I always wonder what I'm eating when I go into a kebab shop, most of the time it's dark and I can't see it anyway. I spose what you don't know won't hurt you.

Anyone heard of Sweany Todd?

coming right up!...would sir prefer his kitten live-boiled, or perhaps lightly incised & slowly
garroted on the grill?, or bludgeoned by bamboo before sirs eyes....?

If I found out I was served dog at a restaurant (for that matter if I was served anything that was not what the menu said it was made of) the restaurant would soon resemble a fireball and the manager would be suffering from high-velocity lead poisoning.
