ummm well, my friend can get me photoshop 6 for free. is there a big difference between ps 6 and ps 7? does it make that much of a differece??? thanks

7 has a few more features and was made for windows XP. It looks much better to :) Besides that notmuch so don't worry.

You can totally tell the difference. 7 is way better than 6.

The general opinion is that 6 is worse than 5.5 (which is what Zone uses), but 7 is the best out of all.

i dont know ps8/cs is great if your into web design. It also supports 16bit images.

is it enough of a difference to actually consider BUYING 7 compared to recieveing 6 free? thanks again.

oh no thats not what i was talking about. my friends dad works for a company that creates graphics and they just upgraded to 7 so he can get me 6 for free. i don't download wares, which is why i asked whether i should BUY 7. i know where your coming from though.

Especially if you're getting a legit copy, free 6 is better than expensive 7, unless you have a lot of money to burn.
