Australia whoops NZ in Semi-final at Rugby World Cup
Yeahhh!!!!
Take that NZ!!!!! In the words of Roy and HG "who came third in the world cup???????" Australia beat the New Zealand All Blacks 22 - 10 last night in what was a great underdog victory. The Australian Wallabies had been criticised for their performance during the world cup and many had abanddoned hope of them winning the game. But last night was a complete dominance by the home side. Now it is onto the final! We will just have to see who wins out of England vs France. That was the worst game we have ever played. Fucking All Blacks. GG On your defense though. I hope the poms kick your ass. the_finger: |
...that was a great game, and whilst I totally respect and admire the NZ team,
I would just like to say: "IN YOUR FACE!!, IN YOUR FACE!!...OH YEAH!!, EAT THAT! WOOHOO!!..." rock: ...pops beer...dances around... |
I have to say though - It wasn't an "Ass Whooping" at all.
You only got one Try - the rest of the points we gave you by making stupid mistakes. Just letting you know. biggrin: |
Tripper, ive been wondering... who the hell is that fag in your picture waving ?

I think once NZ's "Back Three" were shut down they just ran out of ideas. The Australian defence was just too good. Also Carlos Spencer's confidence took a savage blow after one of his trademark long wide passes was intercepted by Stirling Mortlock. Also your kicker had a bad night and most of the penalties given by Australia were out of kicking distance. Oh, Tripper, England won't kick our arse because France is going to walk all over, around and through the English team. Win. Ever. |

But for some reason, That does not look like your hand at all. oOo: |
Goddamnit.
France went down to England 24 - 7. That was honestly the most boring game of rugby I've watched in a long, long time. All England did was kick the ball. They cannot score tries. Looked like a repeat of the second half of the England vs Wales game. Just penalties and drop goals. The French kicking was shithouse and that is what probably gave England the edge. England played like crap, but I'm not sure if the Australians can shut down Johnny Wilkinson. |

That's funny. Quote:
This is also funny, because that's how Australia won. GG winning-by-penalty-kicks-and-then-criticising-England-for-it-stein. |

NZ was patheti cin that game. If they played that way vs canada we might of won.

We didn't play our best, but we didn't play our worst either. The Wallabies had brilliant defence, and lots of luck with their penalties. We played just as good as them, except we made too many little mistakes. Remember, our defense was almost just as good - We both scored one try each. No offense, but I think Canada would have to had played at their very best to have beaten the All Blacks had they played us that night. Even then it's very hard to say. Did Canada even make it to the Quaters? |

Canada plays rugby ? |

Well you must be the only NZer in the country to think that way because every NZer I've spoken to hopes that Australia goes on and wins. Mainly for a couple of reasons. We run the ball and go for tries. England values the penalty and drop goal. Australia, NZ, South Africa and France all go for the tries. This makes for much more exciting rugby. If England wins it will be a huge backward step for rugby if they play like they did against France. Oh yeah about that comment about us kicking penalties. Firstly, both teams scored a try apiece. Our penalties were within kicking distance which was the difference. I think Australia only made one attempt at a drop goal. Wilkinson kicked drop goals all night - boring as shite. The reason we kicked penalties is because the defence of both teams was too good. Both of the tries were either against the run of play or in broken play. Also, England's kicking game is seen in the game they played against Wales. 3 tries to 1 and the team that scored one try won hake: Look, if England go out this weekend and beat us by scoring tries, I'll cop that and won't mind much. But if they go out and use Wilkinson I'll be mightily pissed off. |

Honestly can't be bothered arguing my side in them, because they hold no weight. [quote:bf2fa]Well you must be the only NZer in the country to think that way because every NZer I've spoken to hopes that Australia goes on and wins.[/quote:bf2fa] Well, the only NZers you've been speaking to must obviously have something to do with Australia....Because most of the people I've been speaking too, ALL NZers, would rather see England win the cup as opposed to Australia.... I think I would know more than you about what NZers think. No question. Finally, GO ENGLAND! |
