There's any good WW II movie left to buy ??? Suggestions are welcome. I have all the recently released ones.

Hell Is For Heroes - The Mutherfuckin' Bullit, Steve McQueen.

You got 'When Trumpets Fade?'

That's like 1998, and fucking good.

'the eagle has landed' is a good one, but its not a large scale combat movie, its more suspense i guess.

I bought The Great Escape last night! A true story. A true classic. The DVD has a good documentary too. Steve McQueen, James Garner, James Coburn. Charles Bronson. and a host of great British actors.

True Story? I thought it was adapted from a book.

If you're into adventure war flicks like The Great Escape and The Guns Of Navarone, get Von Ryan's Express. Frank Sinatra is the man.

'None But The Brave' and 'Never So Few' are also good Sinatra war flicks.

Yep - a book written by one of the survivors of that prison camp about an escape that happened while he was there.
