ever say "gg" to someone in real life?
 

some of the aa.com vets might have, i sometimes say "good game" when i bypass my schools internet filter (using the vc.net proxy) and i dont even know im saying it, other people look at me like i have a goiter in my neck.

me and my friends go up behind people and slap them on the ass really hard and say "good game".

I always say that shit out loud.. whenever im watching tv and something bad happens to someone. I always say "haha OWNED bitch!" or when im playing some CoD and I spawn right behind a shit load of enemies and I get some easy kills I always say "GOOD GOING SPAWN" then finish it off with a "w00t!"

yea all the stuff you say to people online is useless in real life. i really feel like a dumbass if i say "owned" like i owned you at that. sounds really bad

I say good game when i'm done playing a hockey game, or any type of sport, but thats the only time. And thats not from here, thats just good sportsmanship.

Owned was a term used in competitive sports long before you kiddo's got a hold of it. Mostly used in an indiviual sport, such as running, but is also usable in a team sport if grudges between rival players arise. Being "owned" by someone back in my day was racing someone until one of us "broke". After repeat breakings, and you no longer felt that person offered you a challnge, you were considered to "own" that person.

"Holy shit i broke (insert arch rival here) at the 3rd mile."
"Damn i took him down on the 5th lap today."
"Didnt i just lap that fag?"

= You "owning" your once arch rival. Special lingo that has probably been around long before my time. Condiering i picked it up from the outgoing class and i know it was still very common verbage when i left.

I have used GG on a few occasions when i wanted to confuse my target, or simply have them make that funny "wtf" face. I have also put asshat into common usage.


Break/Broke: Eliminating someone of your training level and skills will to continue, by out "gutting" him. Gutting in this case is going beyond your and his training levels to see who has a stonger "will to win". He who gives up first, is broken.

GG has been used in Combat Flight Simulator since 1999, you n00b3rz aren't allowed to steal our word. biggrin: I've only noticed it being used in these forums in the last few weeks. It seems you are saying GG over anything & have changed the meaning entirely. I was wondering wtf you were saying it for because good game has nothing to do with a cocky reply or if you see something funny. stupid:

I've never said anything like LOL etc, but I did used to use RW in a very serious & professional flying squad, RAF662. They used all the proper radio shyt with hello this is ... and over &c.
Anyways, I was halfway through a mission with them when I decided to order a pizza, I phoned the pizza place up and asked for a pizza and they said "Be there in 40 minutes". To which I replied, "Roger that, thanks, out".

i have nearly said "LOL" in front of my friends but then i stopped half way through so it was "Laughing" thats all i said, god that was dumb.
