You havent let us with much to help you with. Settign aside your restrictions Id lower the memory to 512mb Sounds like y ouwant a gaming machine so if you cant afford to go big well get a job if you wont change your mind

maybe a cheaper case and a cheaper sound card could get u below 1600

The case is the actually the cheapest case out of antec or enermax and i hear both those companies make great cases....

I will look in to see if i can just get word powerpoint and exel by it self because office XP is so dman expensive!!

Do you think an All in wonder 9800 pro will be a card that will be able to play games on high settings for the next 4 years???

the 9700 pro will be able to for the next 4 yrs too, i think. These cards are coming out way to fast!!

if you really wanna save some cash, hell, get the geforce 4 4600 ti. That card will still be awesome in the next 4 yrs in my oppinion!

I have a geforce 4 ti4200.. But i wana be on the safe side and get a new better card just in case... Who the hell knows whats gona happen over the next 4 years...

ahh isnt that cute a freshman. I remember those days. If I were you I wouldnt worry about which college you want to go to. Worry about you grades and keep them good. Find a major you woul like to go or and then when you know what you wanna do. find a school to fit you. or do it your way. As for worry about 4 years man your gonna go through HIgh school chances are you will get a job and make money. get what you need NOW and worry about later when later becomes now. got it?
