If you happen to be in high school, when do you get off for Christmas Vacation? I get of the 23rd...cause my high school is fucking stupid!

Oh yeah...I have off from the 24th through the 1st ... so I go back Jan 2, cause the school district is nuts!

I've been off since November 19th.....This was my last year of school.

If I was doing another year of school, I would start late January/Early Feb.

the friday before christmas, for 2 weeks. in the UK we get 2 weeks off at the end of each term (christmas and easter), 1 week every half term (october, february and whitsun), then 6 weeks off for the summer

i get 4 weeks off this year though. my first AS exams are in january, so we get 2 weeks study leave (not that anyone actually uses those weeks to study), so i get a month off for xmas

19th - 5th
This is the longest Christmas vacation I've had in quite some time. It will be amazing because I have my license now and will be boarding every day. Just an hour drive to Lake Louise and Sunshine biggrin: .

dec 19 is my last day, return on jan 03. no school, just work.

thats not what i meant. Its not the fact that its summer, its the fact that that is when they get their 2 month break of school.

Yeah, rather than having school finish half-way through the year, like in North America, in NZ, we have a whole school year divided into 4 terms, which generally ends in late November, and starts early February of the next year, meaning we get a huge holiday over the summer.
