Just listened to this band..
Got their new album on rite now, and i got to say, this shit rocks..
Kinda reminds me off Tool..
Anyone else heard them and think they can suggest something in this genre?

Fireal 12-05-2003 04:10 PM

That's because maynard is in both bands.
You're JUST now hearing of them?
Do you live under a rock with beatles?

I dont think thats where John and George went after they died. rolleyes:

I liked A Perfect Circle better than 13 Steps but 13 has some really good tracks on it, and definately qualifies as a success. Just alot more radio friendly stuff on the first album.

Sweden has one of the greatest music seens in it ... METAL rock:

Tystnad 12-05-2003 04:28 PM

That might be true, but we are still a lame country most of the time..

Unknown_Sniper 12-05-2003 04:28 PM

thats why it must suck. Metal isnt my favorite.

We have a big variety of music here, so thats not the reason for our suckiness..

Zoner 12-05-2003 08:28 PM

"Mers de Noms" (their first record) is a lot more rockin' than the newest one. Not knocking the new record, it's just different. Still like it tho.

Old Reliable 12-05-2003 09:13 PM

guarnere 12-07-2003 01:34 PM

sure, that song was good in the early 90's eek:

Ferich 12-07-2003 01:36 PM

... I have the need to destroy every single emo/screamo/hardcore band in exsistence.

You see, working at a trendy music club, I get to see my fair share of Thursday,Taking back Sunday, An Albatross, Poison the Well, and other shitty band's sets....Very annoying. But the pay is good.

saying "other shitty band's sets" implies that taking back sunday and thursday are shitty, so clearly you have made a mistake... what do you listen to when you aren't forced to listen to bands like these?

are you saying that over time whether or not a song is good changes? wow... people's tastes may change but the quality of a song never does.

guarnere 12-07-2003 04:29 PM

that song was cool for about...5 minutes...then there is only so much of a monotonous pitch you can take...i dont see how that song is good

Unknown_Sniper 12-07-2003 04:35 PM

the meanign behind it. Not too many songs can pull that off. PLus their music is weird. how about...Friend with weed? you liek that song. Shame of life, Dracula from houston?

i'll never understand how a song can be "cool for 5 minutes" either its a good song or its not... or are you one of those fab guys who changes their music tastes every week and is probably listening to crappy rave "music" right now?

he doesn't have to "defend himself" I mean i don't care if he changes his music taste... i'm not listening to the same thing i was last year, but there are songs that are constantly good. I think every song i've liked since i've matured a bit has been good... i may not be in the mood to listen to the older songs, but they are still good. I'm not trying to offend anyone... you're all my homies.... although i do still hate rave

guarnere 12-07-2003 05:03 PM
