First Skin in new German DoD-style series for TBFWWII!!
 

Im not big on making German skins, but I think this idea is too good to pass up.

For all you DoD fans who liked how the skins varied by weapon but were in the same unit, I am starting a new SSR Pack for the Germans, which will be modelled after verious German grey heer uniforms from DoD.

The 1st skin is one of my fav's from DoD, the Unteroffitzier. I made him battle-worn, like all of my skins to add more realism. There is a slight red tint to his pants that can only been seen in sunlight which is cool. I also busted my ass to get the hat right, its close enough. It plays well in game, error free and looks cool with that weapons on back mod.

Like the Allied Sargeant, the Unteroffizier is a class designed for assaults, as well as close-in engagements.
This class is very similar to the Scharführer class, although the MP40 trades damage for reduced recoil.

i also got 2 more done today, the scharfshutze and the sturmtruppe, both of which play very well in game. I have 3 more in the grey series, and im going to do a few camo ones too i guess to give it a little bit of variety.

the sturmtruppe, which i converted completely from the winter 2 skin

the sturmtruppe was similar in rank to the unteroffitzier, but used an mp44 instead. i dont have a DoD pic set to compare it to, but DoD players will notice the similarities. I added a breast eagle on his jacket, and a small divisional patch on his left arm. i know that his hands are huge, so is the sniper's, but its because the model uses gloves and i had to make hands out of scratch, does anyone know if i can just give em normal hands?

i have 3 more grey heer to do- 2 grenadiers and an MG 42 shutze, and im thinkin about making like 3 field camo waffen-ss ones also, what do you think?

i like this one, its good to replace the wehrmacht_soldier model with a grey uniform instead of the olive one with those shitty baby blue accents
