Just in case some of you didn't know im a black guy and wanted some tips on hair styles. Ok, i have a low cut hair style and i've had this since the day i was born. I mean, don't get me wrong it's a cool hair style but it's time for a change. I'm deciding on whether i should keep this current hairstyle, go bald, or grow another fro and braid it out. All these seem quite plain and unoriginal so i wanted some advice on how to "spike" my hair (like the white boys wear it biggrin: ) and would it be possible? I've never seen a black guy with spikes before and always wondered how it would look.

Well in this case here, I thought it would be relevant considering that "African -Americans" hair growth is very different than "Caucasians" hair growth. eek:

I'm growing my hairout for lacrosse. It's a ritual of sorts, to grow the "lacrosse mullet", very similar, if not the same thing as the "stoner mullet".

Afro puff is pretty cool. when its done stick a afro pick in it. my friend had one for the longest time, but it was a small one, and he looked like the biggest homo you have ever seen,. Try to grow a large one.

Those are called "Wave Caps" or the modern term as seen above..."Du rag" annoy: . If you've ever looked closely at a black guys hair you'd see like little ripples of waves going from his hairline to the back of his head. The cap is meant to keep your waves in order while you sleep or wear another hat on top of that one. You'll have to brush your hair like 15 times a day maybe more just to keep them in order and looking good.



Anywho, can you guys please give me some tips on that spiking?

Dude first grow your hair so it is long, dye it blond and wear it in a ponytail.
