Flu..
 

Well, My sister has the flu and I think she gave it to me, as I am feeling sick.

Does anyone else have it? It sucks, and Chrsitmas and New Years are just in a couple of days. Argh!

My immune system kicks ass.


Flu? I thought only small children and old people were getting the ''new'' strain

Maybe I'm getting a cold then. But, it's still possible for other people to get it as well.

I seem to get sick every christmas. Colds, Flu, Chicken Pox, Borken arm etc. I don't have anything yet so hopefully i'll make it through this year.

Anyway, I don't know what the fuss is about the flu. I suppose its dangerous to young children and the elderly, but i've had the "normal" flu like 10 times in my life. Unless this is something different.

Eat well and get plenty of sleep (that means no staying up late playing video games) and have a happy holiday.

It's hard to eat when you feel like your gonna throw up everytime someone puts a plate of food infront of you.

I had a stuffy/runny nose earlier this week.. it's gone now.. Guess the flu shot I got earlier in the year helped happy:

I don't think I've had a disease with a real fever for about a year now, I did have a couple of colds, or something (one made me miss a paintball trip with a goup of friends mad: ) but these were limited to stuffed nose (that I needed to blow about every 2 minutes) and feeling like a friggin' zombie.

Mine too!
I havnt been sick in 4 years.
and that time it was just food poison

It takes 4-6 weeks for the Flu shot to actually take effect, ya know?

i had the flu last week, still have a bit of cough. If you get sick, do this, for Pains, aches, sore throats, fevers, the whole 9 yards, drink the hot liquid TheraFlu. Lemon, maximum strength, drink it before you go to bed, once you drink it, wrap yourself with lots of sheets, so you sweat like a pig. It'll sweat it out of your body. Helped me alot, missed a week of work though, sucks ass. Oh drink lots of water, vitamin C, and get alot of sleep.

Greaatttt, i think i have the stomach flu all of the sudden. I puked a atleast a 2 liters of puke.

Appearently it was Appendicitis, cuz they kept me at the hospital for the past week, and did some surgery to me stomach..
Atleast, thats what they told me it was.. eek:

Im sick right now. Not the flu jus ta cold. One of my riends roommates got the flu though and well she was in ICU or a night and had IV's attached. she was in bad shape but she is alright I guess.

Any disease will be MUCH MUCH worse if you continue going to classes or work instead of resting, if you do outdoor work you can turn a common cold into pneumonia, etc.

I try to stay at home whenever possible if I have something, get better a lot faster that way.

Chrizt, I'm so cold....

a couple of weeks ago I had a fever for 4 days along with a hugely congested nose and I was coughing up solidified mucus. It sucked balls and I am still coughing from it 3 weeks later.

My advice is to drink Ginger Ale or Sprite for your stomache and eat toast, they do not agitate your stomach that much so you should be able to eat them. Take a lot of ibuprofen also to keep the fever down. And as stupid as it sounds, try to sit up a lot instead of laying down. laying down just made me feel like I was dying, try to stand and walk around.

both my sisters had it so and its my sis just had it and now its over for her and i have not been affected since i don't go anywhere else besides to my computer, i stay put there all day
