The issue on oil.....
http://www.lifeaftertheoilcrash.net/
If this is really true then we are fucked especially if we live in a society that has not been hyperindutrialized according to the article. I dont know whether to believe this but I'm sure it has to be taken seriously. If oil runs out civilization will collapse and everyone living within a society dependent on this resource will die out which is like 70% of the world. Evolution will take place and only the fittest will survive. Wars will be fought over this scarce resource. Shit if oil does run out and no one had produced a solution, I'm packing my bags and moving to central Africa. |
Ehh... Sure if the oil runs out nations will fall people will riot, maybe a short war or two.
But in 'the end' people wil improvise, adapt and overcome. |
ahh fuck...its all over...were doomed... cry:
|
I am more concerned about how everything is being transferred out of country so cheaper labor can be obtained.
I watched 60 minutes last night and did you know that the people you call (or who call you) about credit cards, that stuff they sell on TV, and even Dell customer support are not Americans, but Indians in India ed: America is basically supplied and run by foreign countries, therefore we are economically vulnerable on all fronts. |
I'm gana invent a car that runs on piss

"oil has run out..the world is in chaos..but the piss car is here to help" |
Aye, we could have an advert of nuclear bombs going off etc, then have a car drive up in the middle of the desert and a guy get out and take a leak in the gas hole thingy. rock:
When the world's at nuclear war, don't piss your pants, piss in your car! |
LOL ..that rules! rock:

That's a great idea!, you could also consider a high performance "shit-injected" model. cool:
|
I'll run your rival company "Jizz Car Inc."
|
"hold on honey" *pulls car over* "where are you going?" " just gotta fill the tank up again"

who cares if the oil runs out all you need to know is how to survive in the wild and your fine!

...yes, we should all learn to make a Pentium4 PC using only bark, twigs, and plastic bottles. freak:

I remember in 3rd grade they said by the year 2000 there would be no oil. Same shit here.

I heard somewhere that iraq alone could suppy the world with oil for some 25 years.

ed: Hopefully gas prices will lower in the next year or two... |
bwahahahahaha i knew i had a reason to keep those old buckets of car oil on the side of my house
i could auction it off for a billion bucks per gallon |
Well hydrogen fuelled cars are the ones most likely to replace the current ones. That's gonna cut down the oil usage.
Also solar technology is getting better and better. I hear about these "solar towers" that are going to be built in the US and Australia (for trials) and they'ree basically a huge tower filled with turbines and surrounded by acres of glass. The way it works is the sun heats the air under the glass which then rises and powers the turbines. If things get REALLY desperate we could always use nuclear power. Just look at my sig and you'll get my viewpoint on this issue. |
