^my thoughts exactly. I hate people who get nice cars given to them. I had to work my ass off to pay to fix up my car. I got the car for free but it dint run & would not have even got 100$ at the wreckers. Iv worked my ass off & did all the repairs myself & paid for everything myself. about 20 hours work & 700$ later i have a car im proud of because i know that Its my car & i worked my ass off for it & deserve it.

And fuck you for not getting off your lazy, spoiled ass and getting a job to buy your own fucking car, instead of waiting for Daddy to give you one. Talk about a heavy burden.

I'd be willing to bet a crisp 10-spot that the fucktard in that video was GIVEN that car, instead of working his ass off to buy it. How else could you explain his complete lack of disregard for his own, and other's, property?

A driving age of 21 is rediculous. 95% of kids have moved away by 20 to either the work force or university & need a car for transportation. I dont think some poloticians can understand how many students actully work out there. If they made the driving age 21 no one would be able to get to work or school. the cops would be overloaded with people driving without a lisence. no lisence means no isurence. I think ontarios system is good. You get a G1 at 16, means you can drive but only with someone wo has a full lisence. you also cant drive on major highways. you can get your G2 8 months later if you take a drivers ed program. otherwise its a year. After you get your G2 you can drive alone but still not on major highways. It seems to work pretty well up here.

I agree Old. Out of the five Urban Centers that I have spent a considerable amount of time in, only two have a public transportation system that allows you to completely ditch your car, excepting the occasional road trip: San Fran and Seattle. Thing is, the rent in both cities can be extremely high, definitely out of reach of some kid trying to make it on his own.

As for my '21 to drive' statement, allow me to quantify that here. I will admit that it was an exaggeration. I perfectly understand that getting anywhere outside of an Urban environment requires a car. My statement was based more on maturity, rather than skill. That video displayed a kid's lack of some maturity (disregard for one's, or another's, property). Raising the driving age to 21 is a fallacy, but goddamn I do wish there were other measures in place to ensure that a driver is able to responsibly handle a potentially deadly weapon. So many kids are brash and arrogant. It seems they gather chips on their shoulders by the minute and mumble "Fuck em" with every step they take. Put em behind the wheel to show off, as those fucks in the video were doing, and somebody WILL get the proverbial eye poked out.

I got two words for those stupid fucks or any of YOU stupid fucks who do that kind of shit: Dan Snyder.

That video made me so mad, I wanted to punch the monitor. I ripped a big fart instead. Calming, that.

What's odd is that my freind who's a MR2 nut probally knows the guy. He's into his car and goes to all those meetings. Plus the guy is from Florida.
