Who's your brand

Some people are more loyal to their car company then they are to their spouse so I was interestedto see who you all side with.

Trunks 05-07-2004 04:55 AM

You didnt metion chevy. Chevy Corvette is my fav car, followed closely by the benz. Cadillac is cool to tho.

Bane 05-07-2004 06:06 AM

eek: Chevy is the first option...

Anyway, GM for me. My dad works for them (as did my grandpa) so as you might guess we're a GM family.

Bazooka_Joe 05-07-2004 08:35 AM

intrestedviewer 05-07-2004 08:59 AM

No Deutchsland cars? cry:

Zoner 05-07-2004 09:10 AM

I drive a Cavalier, so I'll go with GM.

Madmartagen 05-07-2004 09:57 AM

I'll drive any car that is dependable, gets good mileage, and is affordable. Im not a good mechanic, so I cant trust myself to keep it maintained on my own. oOo:

bukdez 05-07-2004 10:33 AM

i don't drive so i'll pick....Heineken...

ninty 05-07-2004 10:40 AM

I've always liked GM, but when I bought my car I went with Dodge. I'd still say "loyalty" lies with GM.

ShagNasty 05-07-2004 11:19 AM

Mopar owns all.

You poor soul.

GM hasn't let me down, my 2000 Grand Am owns all other 4 cylinder cars out there.

MrLevinstein 05-07-2004 11:57 AM

GM here never drive anything but.

Plus both my parents worked for GM for 30 years each.

Arkan 05-07-2004 12:07 PM

Agreed. Audi and Volvo are some of the most amazingly engineered cars on the planet.

Domestic has to be GM. Worked for them too.

Tystnad 05-07-2004 01:04 PM

Mitsubishi

Coleman 05-07-2004 01:06 PM

GM due to Pontiacs. Gotta love 'em

imported_Grim_Reaper 05-07-2004 01:27 PM

american cars suck, except for GM. they are the only good ones. ford and chrysler suck. German cars such as mercedes, BMW, mini, ferrari, etc are all very good. toyota are the best in my opinion. i dont like sedans but their celicas are just fuckin awesome. and u forgot so many car companies on there.... mostly european cars. volkswagen is one, but there isnt one good thing i can think about them....

Fireal 05-07-2004 01:31 PM

Yeah, and most makes of Mini are British - Infact, I think they all are.

My Pick: Holden.

No Doubt.

Honourable Mentions:

Saab, Audi, Peugeot.

Tystnad 05-07-2004 01:50 PM

Im guessing you people go with Saab and Volvo because of engineering over looks.
Trust me, there hasnt been a single nice looking volvo between the Amazon and the S-series.
Saab is even worse, too them ages to get the 9-series.

Anyways, as i stated above, Mitsubishi is my brand.
EVO VI is the hottest in the EVO series so far..

Short Hand 05-07-2004 01:53 PM

GM I own a Cav.

-Beretta GTZ & Z26, Z34 Lumina = Fav budget cars while the Corvette has always been a eye catcher(not budget though) to me even from when I was small.

As foreign cars I have a Liking for Nissan, Mazda, Toyota, Honda since they build great performance cars and great cars for the everyday "joe". Subaru builds some great stuff as well but no so lcose to a budget as most people would want.

Even though I do like GM ever since Saab was bought by them I see little coming from them as of recent which is impressive.

m8? LOL......

Well, must be an acquired taste. I grew up with Holdens all around me, my family have owned nearly every bloody model, and I still love them to death.

Bane 05-07-2004 02:14 PM

Doesn't BMW own Mini which would make the Mini a German car now?

Bullitt 05-07-2004 02:33 PM

Subaru

ShagNasty 05-07-2004 03:41 PM

ARKAN THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS A CLUE WHAT A CAR IS. MOPAR is better but FORD is close.

Pyro 05-07-2004 03:42 PM

out of those GM.

Overall...anything german.

Milla 05-07-2004 04:11 PM

GM for old muscle cars

Dodge for current american cars

Mitsubishi for rice

MrLevinstein 05-07-2004 04:16 PM

I didnt put any euro cars on their because... IDK not too many people drive Beamers or a Benz. Saab is Gm and idk who volvo belongs to.

Tripps-Did you vote for GM because of Holden they are owned or something by gm maybe a partner ship idk what their deal is.

And to the guy who says Mopar rules. They havent made a decent car since 1972. With the exception of the viper...

mopar sucked from 78 till 88. all other years they owned.

Milla 05-07-2004 05:30 PM

My dad has a durango, i love that thing its a beast. A mechanic i work with has a plymoth laser AWD/ turbo charged, and he eats domestics like its no ones business.

There are like 3 or 4 makes of Mini.....Rover, Austin, Morris and Mini Cooper...They're all pretty much the same, except they're made by different companies.

Levinstein - I didn't vote. Holden do have some kind of partnership with GM, I'm not sure to what extent, but I do know that V8 Holden's engines are based on American Muscle cars....I think most prominently, some model of Chevrolet.

I'm not totally sure about all this, though.

the new mini is a bmw with a 'mini' badge, therefore its german.

Poseidon 05-08-2004 07:36 AM
