They have enrgy pyro tons. THey also put on one hell of a fucking live show. Crazy shit. No punk as of the past years has been able to give out vieds like this stuff.

Itsn ot Hardcore definitive punk. Its something else but a genre of punk. give it an official designation if you will .i don't know..its just the term punk is so broad. Im not comparingthese guyz to the kind of punk music like thrice, minor threat, or anti flag. Just it is in that genre some where.

I love the voice. its got something new. A unique touch to it. My dad sad people would say the same stuff about AC/DC when they first hit it off in the 80's. lets not compare OLP to these guyz... huge diffrence.

exactly. Watch them do live shit as well. They enrgy coming off the stage is next to uncomparable. As much as Rocha from Rage when he was singing Sleep Now In The Fire at Olympic Stadium. Incredible stuff.

^ I swear the acting from the lead singer was cheesy, the camera angles, lighting was horrid :( They seemed to all be expressing nothing but fake fake fake (except the guitarist). They had no pep spirit etc.

Which brings me to my point.

I like Liquid Tension but when these guyz try to addl rics they seem to take a downfall. I can't stand Dream Theater (I like the Acoustic Liquid Tension Stuff though they have done.

at least dream Theater has talent.

exactly what is wrong with the music industy today. No body will talent ever gets a break.

DT is fucking amazing, mainly because i can relate to a lot of their songs they write, their lyrics are fucking amazing. their music is soooo complex its not even funny. they spend 3 hours on 1 minute of music. No one, i repeat NO ONE can top Images and Words. no cd will even compare.

EDIT: You've never seen them live, they are beyond amazing live, improvising and EVERYTHING, its like an orgasm for my eyes. plus they have passion for their music. they dont do it for popularity or money.

you see the popularity tends to come with being good. If they can put so much enrgy in their live sutff then what the fuck was that music video ?

lousy? i love Lie, fucking amazing song. its all different styles, short, maybe its just not yours. why does an amazing band have to make an amazing video? videos arent the band.

sadly Jot, video's are what make most groups famous these days. They get exposure on mainstream stuff liek mTV MUch Music and bom explode, get bill board hits etc. Its all part of being a rock star. + I love group which can make amzing video's, Like Radiohead etc.

+ Whatch the lead singer from any Talent video he fucking explodes his eyes go crazy he lauanches around stage, Comparable to Angus from AC/DC or Rocha from Rage. He does this crazy foot stomp thing across stage which is fuckign mazing, Watch any of their video's off Yahoo. You will see the meotion and what I mean.

Dream Theater ain't my thing at all. ALthough I enjoy Liquid Tension :)
