Thief 3 Demo?
 

Anyone played it? and the game is out anyone own it? eek:

i cant wait for it, i mean i played the last two and they rock. i mean, what could be better than running around, blackjacking people and stealing goods from the rich. its great. unfortunatly, i think theif 3 only comes out for xbox and PC, wish it came out for Ps2...ah well.

lol, maybe he decided to try it out you know, just to see if its working alright. 1 month later. Just...testing...it out.

Naw, he came by and gave it to me, along with a stick of 512mb of new ram rock: I just finished playing the first level/training, and it brought back alot of memories from the original series. God I missed that blackjack smacking an unsuspecting guard in the face and then running down the hall giggling hysterically. There were a couple of disapointments in the game, though. They took away your sword, the eye orbs (never really used them though) and what sucks the most is that they took away the rope arrow. I cant believe it, that was such a great aspect of the series, you could just suspend yourself in midair and look at everything. Also, the game doesnt feel like it normally did in the first series, I dont know if its because i havent played them recently, but it feels more console-catering than PC. I guess I will have to revisit Gold and Thief2. This game focuses on so much detail, i spent most of the time just looking at the scenery and listening in on conversations. Its really a nice game, Im seriously going to play the hell out of it when I become unemployed next week. cool:

They move WAY TOO FAST and it's robotic / rigid as hell. Like I said, maybe
my system has too much ease running it...

Been playing for 2 hours now... even though it has its shortcomings, it's lots

If it could be played online I would consider it.

I installed and everything but when i click on the icon to play a message comes up saying a video card with pixel shader capabilites is needed. I have an mx440. shouldnt it work?

Runs well for me, played the demo for a little bit but turned it off when i got to the lock picking, that used to do my head in playing splintercell.

Runs sexy for me. I spent 80 mins on the first level, and i ended up killing a couple of people because they saw me. First level is very detailed, loads of money, and lots of nice offtopic conversations between guards,servants etc. It was so beautifu, it brought a tear to my eye. Im eating lunch now, I will start level 2 in a bit..

There isnt an intro movie, though, I thought that sucked. After waiting 4 years and all, I was hoping for some more storytelling.

OH shit I totally forgot about 'Taffer.' I almost shit myself with laughter when a city watchman yelled that out to me, so many memories. I havent seen any pagans with the trickster yet. Damn that was a good game, this one looks great so far.
