War Movies
Hey, I'm looking for a couple of good war movies that I could look into buying. I own these ones on DVD so far:
Braveheart We Were Soldiers Saving Private Ryan Enemy At The Gates Black Hawk Down Gladiator These are basically the only war movies I've seen, so I hope to get some advice from you guys. Are there good war movies out there that I'm missing out on? (And by war I mean a lot of action involving soldiers or whatever, not crappy action flicks starring Ben Affleck.) I'm looking for a few that are kind along the same side as the ones I already own. The only movie I have in mind is The Patriot. Any other suggestions? |

Ahh yes, thanks for the suggestions all, I meant war movies made recently (say, 1990-Present), since I've seen plenty of old war flicks (my uncle lets me borrow em whenever I want till I get bored of them + my dad has a lot.)
And yeah I've seen BOB when it first came out on DVD, and I'll probably look into buying it once I'm in the mood to save up enough money. Thanks for all suggestions so far beer: ps. thanks for reminding me about Glory phil, I love that movie; I havent seen it for ages... |
How about "Gettysburg" or "Gods and Generals"?
|
Was it just me, or was Gods and Generals really long and drawn out?

I just said it cause it was a war movie. I didn't really like it that much. I give it a 5 out of 10. |
Too many to list really.

Star Wars wasn't bad ... it kind of got gross with that incest part.
