Im actually a Harry Potter 'fan,' I guess. I read all the books and I am going to see the movie on Friday when it opens. It is actually a good story, I tried reading the Hobbit, but I got bored after a couple of pages. My favorite fantasy stories is the Chronicles of Narnia. Potter comes in a good 2nd.

I don't know...but the harry potter books are the only books i've read in awhile that makes me actually want to read it...and I also enjoyed the movies.

Yeah, wtf do people like those movies? I've seen two of them, and I find very few things in the movie interesting. I consider it cheesy and cheap. The only fantasy movies I like are lotr.

I liked LOTR because of the story. It has well molded characters, and if you think about it, it's about as realistic as a fantasy movie can get. Yes, it's still fantasy, but it just seams realistic. That probably doesn't make any sense to most of you, but Tolkien is a genius; that's all that I can say.

On another note, the Harry Potter movies are about as cartoon as a movie can get, without being a cartoon, and I consider myself different from those stupid eight-year olds who run around playing gargoyles and harry potter all day.
