Anyone wear glasses?

I gotta get some for driving & I hate glasses, I don't wana wear em, it's not worth getting contacts though kus my eyes aren't that bad.

Merlin122 06-01-2004 08:41 PM

Yes, I have them. Ladies love glasses.

imported_Fluffy_Bunny 06-01-2004 08:43 PM

bollox, they cover your eyes & don't let the ladies see the full effect of the deadly stare mwah:

TonyMontana 06-01-2004 08:52 PM

Coleman 06-01-2004 08:57 PM

I have glasses, but I am thinking of getting some new frames. Right now I have some small round ones that do not fit well with my face, what do you guys think about those cool black square glasses on me?

bukdez 06-01-2004 11:06 PM

i wear them...

Madmartagen 06-01-2004 11:09 PM

I have lenses and glasses. Lenses are ok, but theyre a nuisance to keep moist and put away when you get ready for bed. Glasses are good, but its hard to wipe/wash your face and they slip every now and then. Im hoping to get the surgery done so I dont have to wear either.

Pick Axe 06-01-2004 11:37 PM

I have wore glasses since I was like 7, now I wear contacts, which is preatty good. If I am at home, though, i usually wear my glasses because I don't won't to have to worry about taking the lenses out when I go to bed. Glasses are a pain though, you gotta keep em clean and they get in the way. When I am old enough and if I get the money, I'll probably do the surgery.

Duke_of_Ray 06-01-2004 11:45 PM

I have asked, and most people like me with my glasses, and not contacts. So now I need to find the sexiest pair of glasses ever, who will help me in this quest.

Pick Axe 06-01-2004 11:47 PM

You didn't ask me?

Infection_Smith@ 06-02-2004 12:00 AM

I wear both, really depends though. I wear contacts to school, working out or doing some physicall activity. I really hate lensees sometimes, they get dry and irritates your eyes. I would stick with glasses but wearing them while working out is again really annoying.

Unknown_Sniper 06-02-2004 12:01 AM

glasses, never needed them. Lasik surgery wont always be there. It fades away over time. Just get new eyes or go blind.

Pick Axe 06-02-2004 12:08 AM

Yeah, they'll probably have that in 10 years or so! Can't wait.

Unknown_Sniper 06-02-2004 12:12 AM

actually its impossible at the moment, youll die trying ot replace an eye.

Pick Axe 06-02-2004 12:13 AM

Well, that sucks. We'll have to go for these.................

wow, i never heard so many complaints about contact lenses. I wear them more than my glasses. I might fall asleep with them in a few nights in a row and nothing bad happens. I just blink about 10 times and then i can't even tell they're in. I probably wear my glasses when i get out of the shower and then to bed...that's about it.

intrestedviewer 06-02-2004 12:17 AM

Mine don't usually bother me, but, sometimes it seems like I can't really focus as good with them. Dosn't happen very often though.

Sleeping with lenses is jsut bad. The next morning your eyes just feel dry as hell. Do you use eye drops?

You can't really go wrong with a pair of glasses like these;

wearing lenses for more two days? You guys are just nuts!!! oOo: oOo: oOo: oOo: oOo: Seriously lenses make your eyes dry depriving it of moisture = uncomfortable like hell.

It doesn't bother me one bit. My dad once took a 20 min nap with his lenses in and he had to get them surgically removed; he couldn't take them out himself. I guess it depends on the person.

Bane 06-02-2004 10:23 AM

I would not sleep in your contacts unless they were designed to be worn like that. I used to do that all the time, but the last time I went to the eye doctor she could tell I was doing it and told me to stop. The blood vessels in your eyes get larger and more pronounced to make up for the lack of oxygen getting to your eye. The end result if you do it long enough is having bloodshot eyes 24/7/365.

SoLiDUS 06-02-2004 05:32 PM

I barely need my glasses but astigmatism isn't limited by distance so if it
gets worse, I won't hesitate to get surgery.
