I got myself an M1 Garand today. God, gunshows are great. Got it for dirt cheap because this guy needed to unload it, checked it out and it was in great condidition. Only problem is that the stock is two colors, but other than that it's in great condition. I'm so happy.

how much was it?

$550 (US). The guy just bought it, brought it home, and his wife made him turn around and sell it. Or at least that's the story he gave me, but 550 for the condidtion it's in is great.

Ammo can be very costly for 30.06. Why I shoot my SKS, and me Mosin Nagant. Though I took my British ww1 rifle hog hunting.

One great thing about being single... no bitches complain about me squandering money to buy fire arms. I'll get pictures soon.

The Big 5 has an M1 Garand here unissued with bayonet, bandolier and sling for $500 or so. Thats where i got my Mosin Nagant M44. I plan on getting their Turkish Mauser K98 for $90.

why waste your money on that shit, buy some weed or beer.
