Now that I got my new computer set up and online, i wanna customize it. what sites do you guys recomend for custom themes and cool backgrounds? also how can you change the default windows sounds (such as start up and shut down sound, etc) any help is apreciated.

I use Style XP and it is great. It's a program that lets you customize your desktop and backgrounds.

EDIT: It has a free trial period, but you can easily get serials...

it still works after its trial period after i remember but comes up with register now alot, but cracked easily it wont.

there is also wincustomize but i believe stylexp is much more better and simplier.

to change sounds, go into your control panel and click on sounds and change the sounds to whatever ya want :P. i didnt read this whole thread, so if someone posted this already sorry. also go to http://www.wincustomize.com

Waste of resources IMO

If people go to the link on Jibber's thread they can find the UXTheme patcher in the sticky at the top. This enables you to use StyleXP themes without having to install StyleXP.

To those people asking for cracks and GIVING out links (FIREAL!) please stfu, do this threw pm's

how the shit did you get the calendar and extra icons on your desktop ? ive tried a bunch of themes but wasnt able to get the icon bars / cal on me desktop .

Is anyone else using the new XP 'Royale' theme that's been leaked? I just downloaded it and think it's quite nice. It looks like an 'aquafied' version of the default XP Luna theme.
