anything but dream theater because you're turning into a Jotun who thinks they're better than they actually are. NWA - Straight Outta Compton

BG good members - hansi (good vocalist)

DT good members - portnoy (one of the best drummers ever) petrucci (one of the best guitarists ever) rudess (one of the best keyboard players ever)

only thing i dont like about DT is when their live, portnoy does backup vocals hake:

Doens't mean the bandis better than others though.

Blind Guardian > Dream Theater

Portnoy > BG drummer

that alone doens't make the band better. Slipknot is not a good band just because Joey knows how to play drums.

even pyro agrees, they have probably the best group of players out there, even those that hate them to death will admit it.

name a band with all better players i dare you.

I just like Portnoy and Petrucci (sp?). I'd prefer the way other band splay togethe rperfectly than the individual talents of DT.

like i said, you may not like theyre sound but they are some of the greatest.

king crimson is 1337, but the DT guys are some of the best (individualy) while some dont agree they do well as a group, they still are better players.

WELL THEN. THATS WHY THEY ARE IN A BAND. IF THEY SUCK TOGETHER, AND ARE GOOD INDIVIDUAL THEN AKA THEY SUCK. UNLESS THEY DO A ERIC CLAPTON.

i think they do well as a group, obviously... i just said others dont, thats ok but just admit that they are great players at least.

anyways since no one will ever agree can we just get back to music ideas?

no King Crimson no DT. teh end....Robert Fripp isnt called "The Guatarist" for nothing..Adrian Belew..nuff said...Pat Mastalatto...Bill Bruford....i dont mean to be insulting fella, but you dont have a clue...even early genesis with Gabriel in Kabuki shits on DT....DT is talented but King Crimson smokes any band talent wise par for par...I bet you can find some old DT interviews and how these guys worship Crimson ;)
