Not so great. You shouldn't really base a model around 1 shape. The butt needs to be connected where it bends. [Very easy, I could explain how to] Clip looks a litte to large. Barrell appears not lined up. Details would look better modelled in instead of skinned on but I understand that this is 3rd model. Hope that helps a little. If you need any help with it ask me. I have tons of time.

needs more detail.

Spend more than 5 minutes and use 3DSMax.

imported_Grim_Reaper 07-06-2004 09:09 AM

...how much does 3dsmax cost? i notice alot of ppl use it.

Poseidon 07-06-2004 09:19 AM

'aquire it'

DaLipton 07-06-2004 09:33 AM

that's not bad for ''no tuts reader'', and only 5mins. make it more detailed in a hour.

Dave won't give you a copy. His company gave him it. [I've asked]
If you want it I have MSN and AIM.

imported_Grim_Reaper 07-07-2004 04:46 PM

alright just contact me on either one, i have both too. i got a basketball game soon so i wont be home for awhile.

ElitE3D 07-10-2004 07:40 PM

if ur only making guns i wouldnt bother with 3d max i use lightray fro my moh and cod stuff there loads of tutrials and its shareware for a start
http://www.sxcreations.com/lr3d/lightray3d.php

imported_Grim_Reaper 07-11-2004 06:44 PM

i have lr3d, its just that my comp cant handle lr3d. i would rather get 3ds max and put it on my parents good computer.

ElitE3D 07-14-2004 03:44 PM

i have both but lightray is like 5 mb and 3dmax is like 150mb not including the 1000s of patches ans plugins and it uses 10 times more cpu than lr3d

imported_Grim_Reaper 07-14-2004 04:27 PM

lr3d is good, but 3ds max is supposedly better. i have lr3d on my computer and it doesnt work all too well..
