GeForce 4 Ti4200 or Radeon 8500. They will kick the shit out of a FX5200. You can find them for less than $50 if you search around.
What Dx9 games do you play? It doesn't matter anyways since your intel graphics card doesn't render Dx9 features. Giving a low end card the ability to render Dx9 features is pointless because it would be to slow to use them. |
I just bought a fx5600. hope it works out weel. it was about 120$ canadian after the rebate. I looked up some stuff & it seems like the card is pretty good. this just disscontinued it so everyone is trying to sell them off.

http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductde ... 006&DEPA=1 what about these 2 cards, are they decent for the price? i looked into the ti4200, they wanted 111 bucks for it...i aint going over 100...graphics arent that important to me and i dont play games that much i just want to be able to run games on decent settings and expierence no lag. |
I just ordered a geforce 5600. once I get it il let you know how it is. mine cost 140$ after tax & a 20$ rebate (canadian money)

Ti4200
edit-look at the Ti4600,it will prolly only cost you like 5$ more |
go for the closest to 100 $ budget fx5600. that will do you. I prefer it fo its half decent clock speed and its dx9 compatibility. so it does a half decent job.
|
If your going nvidia, get the ti-4200 if you oc it, it will be fine.
If at all possible grab a ATI Radeon 9500 and flash it to 9700, great idea. ATI rules. |
DVD qaulity on the 4200 is complete shit, which I have a feeling Eames uses DVD's and the 9500 and 9700 are out of hisb udget as hed said people.

I average a 120 fps in cod with the ocasional dip into the 70 on Hurtgen, Carentan I will hit 180 fps. I've had no probelm playing DVDs on it. I am looking at upgrading to a P4 2.8 512k cache 533 FSB and a Nvidia FX 5700 Ultra. |
