i like the Olympics, it's usually a good show of international unity, set amongst intense competition, i think it's fun to watch...

yes i think they were beaten by mexico. im not going to watch the olympics anymore, its full of nothing but stupid events and NBC banners. The games dont mean shit anymore except for who gets to own rights for broadcasting.

I didnt say he was Canadian, I know hes American. He may agree or disagree, either way I dont think its ignorance behind the title of 'world series,' its more about marketing and sensationalism. There arent many other countries that play baseball as much as we do other than Cuba, and we arent going to play with them.

Ill watch the weight lifting compitions..... Mark Henry and his 1200 pound + dead lift made me throw up last time i saw it but meh.

Yes that's an exaggeration, but the team is the smallest one since '72, I think. The rationale is that they don't want any athletes over there who have no chance of being in the top 12 in the world. Hellloooo...ever hear of the Olympic spirit and the the thrill of competition, fellas?
