What are some of the most scary games I can get? I want something to make me poo poo in me pants. I need something scary for xbox or even better PC! Scare me people!

Thief 1 and 2 are the scariest games I've played.

I pretty much gathered from previews and some of the "announced features" that it should be a pretty intense game. There's an insanity meter involved in there somewhere.

System Shock 2 and Undying both had zombies. I highly recommend Undying. SS2 is excellent if you don't mind the out dated graphics.



Half Life had it's scary moments too.

honestly, I doubt doom 3 will be scary.

Silent Hill for PS freaked me out. Much better game than the RE ones.

im obsessed with ss2, i dont even need to say it-- but that is one of the few games that made me jump

Thief and Thief 2 scared the shit out of me.

What was scary about Thief? I have never played them, I thought they were just adventure games.

I did just order Clive Bakres Undying and The Thing.

Thief was crazy because all u had was a bow and arrow or a club and u had to be all sneaky and hide in shadows cause if the guards saw you, it usually meant death. Quake 2 was scaryish.

Play it, after you go through several changes of pants come back and tell me it didn't scare you. oOo:

The Thing.

Aliens vs predator 2.......MP.......wasn't really scary just cool hearing the sporadic fire of machine guns and the screams of the marines, in pitch dark hall ways.

Yea avp2 has some good moments when your running down dark halls with a couple guys and looking back to find your all alone.

im gunna laugh my ass off if that game sucks.....gerv has a bad exp with every game he has anticipated, ex. mohaa, cod biggrin:

i think i used to get scared of how primitively gory it was

like i saw more blood in mortal kombat 64 (or even better MACE: THE DARK AGES----amazing game), but doom freaked me out

system shock i would get really immersed in the game and hear something coming cuz the audio was real good


i think sound has a big thing to do with scariness

I am expecting doom 3 to be mediocre.. but not live up to the hype.

games dont scare me, neither do horror movies... sometimes i jump at suspense flicks, but not in games

If its gonna be mediocre its obviously not gonna live up to the hype so why state the obvious.

Its already been reviewd by one magazine and got 94%, a german mag also reviewed it but since its in german i duno what they gave it. Its personal opinion if a game sucks or not anyway, see pyro's rants about virtually every ww2 fps sucking...but oddly enough hes not played sp or multi for half of them so obviously hes the best person to make that judgement. oOo:

Anyway the games ive been waiting on lets see

Mohaa: sp lived up to my expectations multi was an afterthought so it wasn't that good.

Cod: Sp is good in this, the multi was annoying but has been fixed and is enjoyable despite some glitches.

Doom 3: Most graphically advanced game the pc has, multi is old style doom with a load of new features never seen in any multiplayer before. Ill get what i expect from it

Pacific assault: Looks promising, multiplayer is a big focus for this game and not an afterthought as it was in mohaa.

Hl2: So much hype surrounding this i dunno one way or the other if it can come out on top, the delays etc make people more pissed and most will be expecting this to be the "be all end all" of games and nothing can live up to that.

If its obvious, why do you point it out? oOo:

just saying, ill probably pick it up... worth 30 bucks.. but its not gonna be the awesome experience people are saying it will be.
