Video Cards which one ???
 

My PC died,so I'm thinking about buying a new rig,I don't follow what's new,what's not.The PC I'm buying comes with Chaintech Geforce FX5200 AGP8X 256MB and on my old PC I have installed a GeForce Ti 4400 128mb.Should I keep the new one,or swap with my old one ?Until I get a new Video Card.

Open for suggestions for a new VC,links would be great.

From what ive read, the FX5200 is supposed to be the worst card for the money. The only advantages it has over the 4400 is that it is dx9 compatible. And what new card are u getting?

I don't know something in the USD300.00 range.

Just try both cards out, i have a geforce 3 ti 200 with 64 mb of memory and an FX 5200 with 128 mb of memory. I found that my geforce 3 is actually faster than my FX 5200 oOo:

id grab a 9600xt or 9800pro depending on your $$$

i just recenty switched from a nividia 5200 Fx asylum to a ATI 9600XT...it helps a whole lot..

someone send me a gfx card, anything is better than my 9200

i had that card it was bad ass but i didnt think it would cut it for doom 3, thats why i bought a radeon 9800 pro that card fucking rules

He's Right I play DesertCombat On high settings with A GeForceFx5200 128mb 8xAGP. Well Best Card I had. It played Dc better then my new Radeon 9600xt.

im sorry, but your completely... wrong.... the 9600xt is much much better than the 5200 which was a total shit card.

Hes prolly not lying..I think the 9600xt just has aa/af set from the start unlike the 5200 which prolly starts with nothing..
