Got them for a good price ($125). These are easily the most high end cans I've ever owned. I also have Shure e3s earbuds for my portable but these easily sound much better when you give them the power they want. They will be my gaming, and, when my roommate is around, my music phones. They are amazingly comfortable aswell. I popped in some Dave Matthews, Coldplay, and some rap to test the bass. I was blown away by it all! They seem very laid back and natural sounding, just how I like it. Bass isnt overpowering but very smooth.
I recommend them for the price easily.

jsut my expierence with every headphone I have ever had. Someone sits on them or drops them or throws them against the wall. Or even steals them. IMO expensive heaphones are not a smart Idea unless you keep them locked up in a vault when they are not in use.

Your basic set of cans. They go around your ears to seal which gives you better bass response. They arent meant to hook to your portable and take to school or whatever. Those kids who do that are retarded annoy:

I've had good luck with mine. I've had my $200 Shure E3's for over a year now without a scratch on them. Took them all over. THought I lost them a few times though. I'm just somebody not happy with mediocre sound.
