Omaha MP is definitely fun, I especially liked it as Axis and outnumbered...because you always get those snipers on the beach waiting for you, while you never come out!!

Me too get a mp whem there are allied snipers on the beach. Man I have killed alot in that way. Hehe...snipers SUCKS on Omaha.
BTW. I dont shoot people with other weapons 'cuz I am against spawnkilling...except when it is snipers http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/smile.gif

Although it might be 'fun' to camp and snipe as an ally on that map, its COMPLETELY useless.

Yet again, what a marvelous game http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Allies had to try for real to get past the machine gunners, and not sitting on boat and killing everyone from there. Much more realistic too... Not saying tho that snipers should be banned from everywhere http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/wink.gif

I finally got the chance to play on a server with this mod (not the one in the quote). Finally the Axis players can shred with the 42's for longer than 2 seconds.

I tried it as an Allied player too, and it made getting to the sea wall that much more intense.

Does the Swedish server remove just the Allied sniper rifles like the one I was playing on?

When iplay ther tomany people sniping on allied team. So they cant complete the objectvie. So i told everyoe take back teh shingels so we did and we attackked the beach. And toook half hte beach and shoot htem while they were runngin for the frist obsicle! That will teach em

Thanks a lot, I'll have to try that!

Omaha MP is fun with the Anti-Sniper mod. Then the Germans can actually use the MG -42's. And also it gives you a reason to use the unscoped mauser. HeHeh.

I *think* it was some Swedish server, you might want to check those out as there are only few (according to ASE anyways).

I've played on that server, it was fun!

Whne the allies have useless snipers just sitting on the beach, I love to go down to the beach and pistol whip them in the water. You think that they would buy a shotgun and go after me...nope they stay with that stupid gun and continue to get killed by the boats.

I just played in an Omaha server and had the best time I've ever had in MOHAA, or almost in any game for that matter. By sheer luck I stumbled upon a server using the mod that restricts sniper rifles and rockets in Omaha. It was great (imho), it was a LOT like single player cause we (Allies) had to actually FIGHT our way up the beach. Half the time I would get gunned down by crossfire from MG42s, which I loved.

It's not as uneven as some people think it is, it's not that hard for the Allies to win because when the Axis has full control over the MG42s, they hardly defend at all and you can set bombs at will when you break through.

So please don't flame me, but it was incredibly fun, and I beg anyone who runs a server crossing obj_team3, USE THE SNIPER MOD!
