im a big fan. no so much of the dj xyz type stuff but of the experiemental.

i dont care for djs, but i like dance. not main stream cheese out type stuff, which is probably what those vids are. i only follow a few electronic artist since most of the new stuff is like the above.

too many sub-genres of electronica kinder to too many different kinds.

theyre not comparable.... as guitar is an insturment or at least in the traditional sense, that revolves around pitches and rythym. Im not saying DJing is not hard but its really not even comparable.

and i personally dont find the music entertaining at all, just a lot of work and still sounds like shit .. but thats my opinion

mainstream such as as you listed such as tiesto and keoki, are popular dj's yes but they are not of the same genre of electronica, while Tiesto is more trance Keoki is more Goa-Psy Trance, I wouldnt diss either one because they are popular, both have created great work, Each popular Dj has his own style in his sub genre, I believe the reason they make it to the top and our well known, is because they are some of the best in their genres

Not my cup o' tea, but I can appreciate talent when I see it.
