I don't see how anyone can use larger than 1024, well at least on a 19". If i go up to 1280, I can't see anything. It's too small!!

im on a 19 and you can see everything in my ss , no? i cant stand having one program cover the whole desktop. ive been using 1600x1200 for as long as ive had a 19.

I use 1152 X 864 just because I have never changed it. Doesn't bother me much at all.

winamp, get a skin for it called multipass

1152 X 864 is best on my 19" downstairs.

but 1600x1200 is just stupid

Too small for me. It may be different on your monitor, because yours seems fine but mine seems really small. I dunno, maybe i'm crazy.

Probably just have to get used to it. But I think my eyes would be strained trying to read shit.

also depends on how close you are to the screen. mine downstairs quite a bit at the back of the desk
