God damnit to hell.. I spent 92$ on ram to hope MoH:Aaa would run even sweeter when I got and and I bought a new vidoe card then I bought mOh:aa boy wasI happy then I install it 48% ask's for a new disk so I put the new one in and then 86% asks for a nother fucking disk everytime wtf? I spent enough money on the game itself it should fucking insttall properly. Any suggestions?

lol thats worse than me. mine went to 21% then asked for the 2nd cd but of course wouldnt accept it because the 1st cd hadnt downloaded fully. My suggestion to u is to get an exchange. the product is supposed to be working correctly when its out of the box so u are in all right to exchange it for a working copy.

Looks like maybe they sent out a batch of BAD CD's ------------------ Bone's Heal, Pain Is Fleeting, Chick's Dig Scar's & Glory Is Forever http://webpages.charter.net/qwiqshot/221001.jpg |
Shouldn't be like that. After 48% installed it should ask you for the 2nd CD then you should be able to play with either one.

I cant believe this B.S.. Knowing my computer store run a by a bunch of peny sucking cheap skates they wont exchange it.
|
in the back of the manual it has a warranty. it clearly states the product will be delivered in working condition when bought and for a period of time after that. if your store wont exchange it i recomend emailing EA they will take it

here is the E-mail I sent them:
[qoute] Hello I spent 4 weeks saving up my allowance and doing extra chores so I could buy MoH:AA I was so happy when I got it. I went to install it and after 48$ it said insert disk one. Then after 86% it said insert another disk and it only came with 2. I have tried re-installing it for about 6 times and still always at 86 percent. I have a AMD athalong 800mhz 256 ram and a geforce 3 for cpu specs I don't think its my computer. Also the demo lagged liek hell. Why would you make a game thats so demanding. Most people dont have all these hi-tech computers read the forums of fan sites people complained and bitched about lagg and issues in the demos and from what I hear ( would have seen but u guys ripped me off) it still isn't fixed. Worst 74$ I spent of my life. I hope your happy toook me weeks of extra chores to do. [/quote] They better do soemthing About it. [This message has been edited by bLuNt (edited January 31, 2002).] |
I have a 1.2 with 2 20 gig harddrives 512 ram and a gforce 3.

A friend of mine had this same problem. What he did was used a disc cleaner and then it loaded fine. He didn't see any smudges on it before he cleaned it either. Weird, but it worked for him. Just my .02!

the fix for this bug is to disable your anti-virus software before installation......
|
If ever you get trouble like that, ctrl alt delete everything apart from explorer (obviously) and systray.
also am i right in thinking it tries to connect to the internet, like the demo did. if so, go to your internet options in the control panel and set it to "never dial a connection". hope that helps!. ------------------ I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin. But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to. |
Sounds fuck (likes a smoke), mine went to 48%, asked for cd2 and went all the way to 100% http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/tongue.gif.

Hey BLuNT, how did your system specs manage to change in just a few hours? Seems odd to me.
|
Blunt,
What are the specs of your computer? It might not be a bad ass enough machine to handle the game. I know it takes up 1.2 GB or disk space and recommends a 700 MHZ processor. ------------------ Its time to Meetyourmaker. |
Seems to me ive heard this befor on another post.. I looked for that post, but couldnt find it... they named a solution, but since i cant find the post, ill tell you what i remember from it.
Seems to me somone mentioned copying all the contence of both discs to your HD. Once there, install form disk one (which should be on your hard drive) and when it asks for disc 2, imput the path to the 2nd disc (which will also be on your hard drive). hope this helps. Like i said, this is from another post, and thats all i remember form it... Good luck, and hope it helps man http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/smile.gif ------------------ ~Blaze |
