only really a fan of the games up to RE:3 Nemisis, I saw the first movie, and I thought that was bad, this is even worse, my god, what a load of horse shit, only real good thing about this was the Girl who Played Jill Valentine and The fact that it was filmed in Toronto. I didnt really want to see this, but its better than staying home

is there nudity, it said so in the rating thing...

yes, there are prostitutes in the street with no shirt, and near the end when The girl who plays Alice (main character) is held in this water capsule thing.. <shudder> I really didnt need to see her tits.. she doesnt even have tits actually. just big disgusting lookking nipples.

there was also this fight scene with alice and the Nemisis which was just completely ridiculous sleeping:

Let me take you back to my middle school years. There's a young stary eyed boy who, and this is true, is in a fit shape. This youth is attached to his supernintendo playing great games like Starfox,Zelda and other great games of the day. The most notable is Mortal Kombat. A gruesome game that combines gore,fighting and memorable charecters. Fast forward a few years and the buzz around the scene was there's a movie coming out about Mortal Kombat. This movie, while a lil' corny, followed the story line of the game very well. A few years later another Mortal Kombat came out, this time with the name Anihilation. The movie was total shit. The destroying of memorable charecters and the constant plot fuckups hurt the game players the most....the butcher of this film went by the name of Paul Anderson.


Many years later another movie comes out sharing the same name of a popular video game. This movie was Resident Evil. Eager as a beaver I rushed to see this movie with the highest expectations of it following the first Resident Evil story line. My heart was saddend when I viewied this monstrosity of a movie....

I think we can figure what happend to AvP:The Butchering and now most recent, Resident Evil Apocalypse.

My main question to Mr.Anderson is 'how?' How can someone fuck up something that was so solid a story line, so solid a fan following? HOW I ASK YOU!

I hate the "Birds-Eye" view in that game. The graphics are great, but the game sucks.

It had absolutely nothing to do with the game.

BUT IT WAS AWESOME

YES!!

Saw RE:A tonight. Some thoughts:

- Those who didn't play the game must have been *really* confused when
Jill erupted in the police station: she already knew what to expect and how
to deal with it. Still, one or two lines of dialogue explaining her actions would
have been welcome for them.

- Replacing Claire's entrance in the Umbrella headquarters for Alice's and
basically having her do the same things move for move was simultaneously
exciting and frustrating to watch: keep it for the third installment or do the
scene properly.

The movie had a videogame "feel", which must be responsible for my
partial appreciation of it. RE:A was loosely based on the 3rd game and
made much more sense (in terms of what RE is) than the first, which I
found completely lacking. Alice has disturbing potential for the 3rd movie
and the Nemesis was a lot of fun to see on the big screen. Jill was very
sexah and Olivera had bad-ass written all over him. Say what you want
but the token black man was the shit: he made my day...

Epps was cool.

meh, i thought the first one was way better. i never played the game so i dont know how the story should go. but, the whole corporation taking over a city bullshit really sounded stupid to me, especially if they have the capabilities of nuking a damn town. the movie was exciting at the beginning, but the way the whole thing unfolded stunk like a turd.
