Uninstalling it in unnecessary, besides, some web pages are fucked on mozilla.

But for the most part Firefox > IE

oh crap that happened to me, the next thing i got was the "WTools" virus

Himmler 09-20-2004 04:51 PM

you get pop ups because you dont have programs that protect your computer, your going to get pop ups even without ie. get the yahoo toolbar, or the google tool bar. and get adaware 1.05 se and it will solve all your problems.

Apocalypse | NoW 09-20-2004 05:12 PM

Ive never had pop-ups...

Himmler 09-20-2004 05:15 PM

pop ups = spyware. ie isnt the cause of spyware.

Merlin122 09-20-2004 05:24 PM

i know. but everytime i run spybot, adaware, etc it refuses to delete one thing and it wont catch it again. but i think the toolbar helped.

Himmler 09-20-2004 08:25 PM

ok, try hijackthis.

http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/

it will remove a lot of stuff that some programs dont see. but be careful what you remove, it will say to remove programs u wanna keep.

IE > all
