it's not like these kids are going to have no emotions and act like robots. they would be normal humans like anyone else. How they act and behave is based apon how the parents raze them and influence them. they won't be some evil villains attempting to take over the world... Thats what people think of whne they ere of this type of stuff.

If they make these genetically perfect babies, what do they do with the ones that arent perfect? The knowledge and capabilities to do this science adn research is interesting, but are the costs and liabilities worth it?

But seriously, I really don't want anything to ever come close to "the perfect human". Don't ask me why to back it up, because the answer lies in the natural laws that are unknown.

If I understand correctly, it is:

- okay to develop methods of curing ailments, but eliminating them from the human genome isn't...

- okay to devise new ways of dealing with less favorable human traits but eliminating them from the human genome so as to avoid this complication, isn't...

I really don't think humans should alter our make-up. I believe things happen for a reason and people should die (not trying to sound heartless here, just trying to be realistic).

It is really hard to put into words. We have to remember, alot of this stuff goes back to religion and so forth...
