Nope, ms would know how m,any testers they have seeing as they'd be in test facilities. Id also assume they can detect where the game is being run from and what version it is. Theres only so many testing copies, ip's could also be traced, if theyre dumb enough to play on xbl theyre taking a pretty big risk of being caught.

Nope, I believe I saw video that said people will be upset to see others on their friends list that says "Playing Halo 2." I'm pretty certain it's actually released.

The official release date for america is november 9th, rest of the world get it the following 2 days. Only people playing the game are warez monkeys.
