Hey all! I started my process to become a member of the world's greatest Air Force today. I filled out all my paper work at the recruiters office, and will go to Dallas,Tx next week for my physical. Also I should find out by Wednesday after my physical what job I will be doing. I will probably leave in June sometime for basic, after I graduate High School. Man I will be so sexy in Blue.

what general area do you think youll be in? just whatever they got?

i know a lot of people who went in as mechanical/electrical "technicians" its a great way to pay through college, though not as great of a career as it used to be....

I have to list four job I qaulify for. I was going to be a cop, but everyone says that job sucks big time. Now I am going to try to get intelligence or photography.

haha you'll be coming down to my neck of the woods, ya Im going to join the military after I recieve my bachelors, I dont want to be a grunt, being a officer is where its at, still havnt decided on marines or airforce, gl though man and keep your head on

The fact I believe this is a just war is part of my reason to join. Now many may disagree with the war in Iraq, and that is fine well all have the right to our own opinion. I just hate to see people out there fighting, and me doing nothing in a war I support. Now you can laugh at me and mock me for joining the Air Force, but it takes every branch to make things work.

Isnt that called Green to Gold or someshit? When you get a degree, and go from Civi to Officer? Meh, I wouldn't feel like I earned an officer rank. Just me though. I plan on joining either the Army or Marines, most likely army.

your just a petty officer, and if you just enlist, like you plan on doing, you cant get above the rank of master sergeant, unless we were in a congress declared war

Meh, I still wouldnt want to do it. I dont plan on doing more then the 4 years anyway.

I prefer sexy black or summer whites so I'm joining the Royal Navy & officer is where its at!
