theyre not the greatest band of all time, but a lot of their riffs sound nice

Yup, anything from Jester Race, Whoricle, maybe Colony. Then rest is utter shit.
You may want to check Dark Tranquillity. They are a lot like old In Flames. Usually a bit harsher in the riffs and vocals, though. |
Cloud Connected is the only song ive heard by them.

Well, I wouldn't consider the rest of their stuff "utter shit". I really like "Reroute to Remain" and "Soundtrack To Your Escape".

Its called Death Metal not because of the lyrics, but the riffs, drums.
