GTA:SA Question
 

Ok, in the game you can rob houses, I so I stole a boxville, hit R3, and I still can't rob any houses? am I doing something wrong or what????

You have to be in a black van. It is the same type of the one you did your first robbery in.

So I can't just grab any boxville, it has to be black? or that exact one?

yeah it has to be black. They say that after you complete the mission. I think you can find one where that storage place is, where you dropped off the goods.

On the 2nd island its near the fire station in a back alley.

Its a 2-tone paintjob on the van. The bottom half if black and the top gray. Or the other way around i dont remember. When i found it i saved it in a garage so i knew where it was.

I'm pretty sure you can only rob houses at night

I know, between 22:00 and 06:00, just I have grabbed boxvilles and tried but nothing, so I find the place next to the fire station on the 2nd island and I only use that one?

Are all of the vehicles different in color and stuff?

Or is it the same gay crap where you'll see the same exact car after 30 seconds?

I jumped the fence at the air port and took the leer jet to the second island. and 2 harriers shot rockets at me until i got back to the first island.

I wish this game would hurry up and come out on pc! Sounds sweet as dunk.

If your standing on the sidewalk looking straight at the fire station, the one to the left of your garage.
Turn left and take your first right.
Go down that road and pass set of lights and the alley will be on your left.
Go in the alley and it will be on your left side.

EDIT: There is another one on the first island, but im not sure where it is.

Dumb question, but how many missions do you have to do to get to the 2nd island. i havent been playing much since i just beat the mission when you steal from the military base.

I counted around 25ish.

it always seems longer to get from the 1st island to 2nd than 2nd to 3rd.

I find them more of a challenge. I'm getting bored of the missions where u take a guy from point A to point B, Mission passed. sleeping:

It automatically gives you one when you press R3 to trigger the 'burglar' thing.

I saw a black boxville by the house of the crack dealers where you go in and beat them up. Also, look for it by the place where you first found it to do the mission.

I looked on the in-game map and the fold out map, no fire station located on the maps

Its not marked on the map..but its by your first save point when you get to the 2nd island, the garage.

Whenever i rob houses, i just get the black van across from the gym in Los Santos. I am almost done the game, just finishing up the missions in Los Venturas. Great game.

i got a question

you know how u can take over gang territories. is it a good idea to to take over all them before u move on? cuz I thought u can always come back to los santos and keep doing it, but after progressing the story, i come back to los santos and I cant do it anymore (maybe I can later, but im not far in the game)

Nein, cause in alittle bit it wont even matter.

If you take them all over before you first leave Los Santos, you get an AK-47, Molotov Cocktails, an MP5 and a sawed-off shotgun and $5000 (i think, i always collected before it reached that high) at your mother's house. Also you can max out your most of your weapons faster by doing the gang-wars. So it can be a good investment if you're low on cash.

But since you've already left, you're pretty much screwed until you come back to Los Santos at the end of the game.
