Cant run the test (dont ave interweb on my home PC), but im asuming an Athlon XP 3000+, 768 worth of pc400's and a Radeon 9200 128 Mb will do for the time being.

Should be, the minimum is a 7200 Series and recommended is x800, so your somewhere in the middle of those two as far as video cards go..

The rest of the recommended is like this:

Processor: P4 2.4Ghz
Memory: 512mb
Disk Space: 2.2gb
OS: Microsoft Windows XP

Guess I'll buy HL2 when I can afford it, now that I know I will be able to run it.

Only differances are i have a 5950 ultra 512 ddr, a gig of ram, and a AMD 64 3200+. I should be doing just fine.

The reason you're getting a lower ranking is that pos analyser goes by cpu mhz speed and not by what its like in real terms, higher number = rank higher on that gauge.

it seems like i can push the northwood abit higher than 3.5 but i cant find a proper combination of ram timings and ratios. whenever i go above 230 i become unstable.
