ummm.. great thread title...


Umm first one, but the blur doesn't feel natural., Just cutting it out then filttering it doesn't always give for the greatest effects. 2nd one just doesn't feel right at all though.

Thats not a filter, its too uneven, it looks like he just used the blur tool.

Good way to do that is to do a really loose cutout, about 4-5 pixels away from the actual object you're cutting out, feather is by 2 -3 pixels, select inverse, then guassian blur.

Works best for me atleast.

Yea, looks like you cut a little too close to him though, as it blurred the gun somewhat.

done that few times, all just depends on what ya want, although I like the method you said better, , because as you said before, it ffeels more natural/ looks better.
