I like LOTR, but I dont like it enough to go out and buy that. it looks cool and all, but I already own the single DVD.

so they turned a 3 hour snore-fest into a 4 hour snore-fest?...

Santa's bringing me the LotR extended edition box set; 11hrs 20mins of pure movie magic! I'm going to watch the 3 films back-to-back! rock:

I bought the extended version of "Fellowship..." and found that I didn't bother with most of the extras anyway.

I have the next two movies as single DVDs and they're fine for me.

i just kept to single dvds. But id like to rent it to see sauromans (sp?) fate

Love how they bring out the normal version then its like "ooh heres some footage on the cutting room floor we conveniently missed, lets make another dvd for an additional 30 seconds of a hobbit getting a blister on his big toe burst".

I like all 3 dont get me wrong but trying to watch them all back to back, no way, my attention span couldnt last that long, let alone that would take an entire day up, and I wouldnt want to waste that much time even on a good movie such as lotr

Course...about 50 mins of it.
