I see your point. But, how are you going to really define an asault rifle? Is a semi auto gun an assualt rifle? Full auto should be banned, and well, they are.

I have an SKS(semi-auto). Haven't shot it in over a year. I just like to have it because I would like to have it, it is a (albiet small) piece of History. I would rather go shoot a bolt action rifle, or a small caliber high cap. rifle (like a .22, for instance).

just proving that assault weapons are useless. The enfileds have probably been used in ww1 or 2 why would display an m4 in your house? its got no purpose or sentimental value.

You are aloud to shoot assault rifles legally and own them legally. I agree, no use in displaying an M4 in your house but you can still shoot them. It just depends on what assault rifle. Some have been used in wars, [Ak47-SKS] and some haven't.

Well an AK-47 and SKS are assault rifles and they were both used in wars. It justt depends what assault rifle like I said.


And Pyro, owning a glock is just as useless as owning an assault rifle. You can't hunt with them and would be an odd thing to display. It's never been used in a war. It's just a plain pistol.

Cops use em. And my two best friends are becoming cops. So i don't know I thought it would be nice to own at least one even if I don't think id ever fire it. Im not against handguns.

An M4 is used by soldiers. My brother is a soldier.


A glock has just as much sentimental value as an assault rifle.

I'm sure if you were offered an assault rifle for free, you wouldn't hesitate to take it.

Id sell it probably. I prefer handguns, thats me. Maybe if i could get a guarentee that all assault rifles are never shot and are unloaded, then i might be alright with it.

They're just as fun as shooting a Glock. I've shot an AK-47, SKS and Glock and they are all equally fun. Once you fire off 30 from an AK, you'll change your mind.
