SNOW!!!!!

Here I am, sitting 70 miles north of Dallas Texas and there is 2 inches of snow outside!! Its leet! I went and rode my four-wheeler some whila go (quad-bike for you non-american folks) .....

Just so long as no one gets hurt, the snow is awesome.

TonyMontana 12-22-2004 04:11 PM

ahahah you think that's bad? Here in Brampton ( annoy: ) we are supposed to be getting 25-30 centimetres (about 10 inches for you yanks)over the next 24 hrs

strvs 12-22-2004 04:17 PM

Its been an odd year here, we usually have a permanent snow pack by the end of october, but up until a couple days ago there was barely any snow on the ground.

Just got some snow here this morning over in Denver ( I live in Aurora, a "suburb" of Denver thats waaay too close to be called a suburb, but theres no other word, so, yeah, it is a 'burb). Its pretty much melted already, but its getting cloudy again, and I think we're gonna get hit by more tomorrow..

...has anyone at all expirienced one of those picture-perfect Xmas's, where you wake up, and its snowy outside? Every Xmas I've ever had has been a sunny, hot day.

I like snow when it is not in my city. I would maybe drive an hour for a weekend of skiing or something, but i don't want to see it everyday.

bukdez 12-22-2004 04:42 PM

been snowing all day here...

imported_Grim_Reaper 12-22-2004 04:43 PM

2 inches is nothing. last year we got a lot, and a few years back we got a couple of feet. that is normal in new england anyway. most of it froze over today so its all ice.

I assume you have snow plows, tire chains, and a system to salt or sand your roads? Hell, here we don't even have snow shovels oOo:

Godsmack 12-22-2004 06:08 PM

last xmas I woke up to snow this xmas Im gonna wake up to rain cry:

BeanerMan 12-22-2004 11:11 PM

No snow or rain where I live. It's suppose to be around 75 on christmas day in Southern California. Although today it was around 65. It would be nice to wake up to a perfect white snow christmas morning. However, I am grateful I don't have to endure freezing temperatures like most of you guys that live up north. dance:

ha have fun. We only get like 2 - 3 inches at a time and it usually melts the next day and then comes back again. Today we had a pretty big snow storm [for us]. Probally 5 - 6 inches.

Zoner 12-23-2004 07:21 AM

We're supposed to get 10-25 cms today, then get freezing rain, THEN get rain.

Fucking lovely. mwah:

Short Hand 12-23-2004 07:42 AM

Just got another 37 cm over the 50 cm we had on the gtround already...... They had to bust out the tractor plows since the trucks couldn't handle it......(smaller trucks)

Sgt>Stackem 12-23-2004 07:44 AM

snowing like hell here. We only have about 8 inches so far but its coming down fast

Eames 12-23-2004 10:42 AM

Its 70 degrees here in sunny florida..... rock:

ninty 12-23-2004 10:43 AM

It was -20 last night, but I think its supposed to warm to like 5 degrees tomorrow. Theres a little snow on the ground, but it might melt. cuss: This has been a messed up winter for calgarians.

Mr.Buttocks 12-23-2004 10:44 AM

Post pics of your snowy village/town/city please.

Scooter Pie 12-23-2004 11:18 AM

Cincinnati had a level 3 snow emergency; only vehicles on the road are emergency vehicles. The fire crew couldn't get up a hill so they had to string hose over 5 blocks. We have 6 inches of snow and 3 inches of ice on top; it's nuts.
